    • Dear Academia (current & potential) partners (on institutional & individual level),

      You have probably heard of, and many of you participated uptaking diverse roles in the #EUvsVirus hackathon & matchathon (https://www.euvsvirus.org), a pan-European yet global endeavour of 25.000+ volunteers around a purpose to bring innovative solutions to saving lives within months - and mathching with partners from corporates, venture capital investors, academia, public institutions, ... under patronage of European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, coordinated by Mr. Isidro Laso (European Commission).
      As project manager for the Academia partnerships, I would like to say firsthand - it was amazing experience - we managed to make something unique and remarkable, on mass scale, exemplifying virtual collaboration, self-motivation, purpose- and mission- driven global citizens and institutions unified around common goals to fight the pandemics and see impact. Academic partners collaborated multidisciplinary, proactively (as opposed to siloed and single-disciplinary focus), and we believe we have set a functional prototype for the new normal of value co-creation and co-evolution.
      Since we have quite active 150+ researchers, scientists, academic institutions, hubs, tech-transfer offices, ... extremely eager to research, publish, analyse, disseminate, ... we are going steps towards contributing to both science and practice with the experiences from the EUvsVirus (read more). 
      Here are the potential fields of collaboration, so please get in touch with what you would be interested in and let's do some more magic together! Looking forward to our collaboration!

      Goal: To enable open call for interested researchers to observe, systematize and analyse and contribute to the projects by performing in-depth research for corona/technology/market issues and extend the EUvsVirus help to saving lives in this manner too
