Dear friends and colleagues,
It is my pleasure and privilege to say yesterday I participated as mentor in the successful, competent, multi-disciplinary (biology and economics) master dissertation defence of Judith De Koninck at Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde UGent Belgium. It was a process of Judith's hard work, creativity and dedication, and from what we have witnessed, she is just starting to make this world a better & more circular place

Congratulations dear Judith, thank you, dear professor Geert Poels, the defence commissioner Dirk Steuperaert and committee member Michael Verdonck, for being a positively 'tough crowd' - for the constructive, thorough and very relevant input and feedback, and for steering both the student and the mentor on a quality track.
